Anjali is an 11-year-old girl who lost one of her legs to cancer. In spite of this debilitating condition, she put up a brilliant dance performance at a medical conference in Kolkata a few days ago.

The video of her dance has gone viral on social media and it is heartening to see that people are appreciating her act. Anjali danced to Shreya Ghoshal’s hit number Mere Dholna Sunn from the movie starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan. The dance performance was a huge success and fantastic to watch.

Wearing an elegant ghagra choli, Anjali was able to perform difficult chakkars and steps in tune to the beats of the song and she danced with effortless ease as the audience cheered for her all through her brilliant performance.

Dr. Arnab Gupta who attended the conference shared Anjali’s performance on Facebook and this captured a large number of likes and shares. In the caption, Dr. Gupta says that Anjali aspired to be a dancer but she lost one of her legs to cancer. The doctors and nurses who were treating her inspired Anjali with the story of Sudha Chandran. Inspired by the story, Anjali fought back from her condition and within 2 years the gritty girl had turned into an elegant Kathak dancer. She has also won a good number of accolades and appreciation for her efforts.

In the meantime, the internet has gone gaga over her performance. Anjali’s dancing has been widely appreciated and has been shared across the internet many times. Her post has received over 3,000 likes. Netizens applauded Anjali and there were many heart emoticons for her brave performance.
