This wonderful news comes to us from New Zealand.
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is a popular figure, and it is her random acts of kindness that help to boost her image even further. Recently she confirmed that she was the woman who paid for a mother’s groceries after a supermarket mishap.
The Auckland mother of two proceeded to go to the checkout section to pay for her veggies, only to find that she had left her purse at home. However, Ms Ardern was behind her in the queue and paid for the woman’s purchases herself.
In a Facebook post the mother wrote,” Just when you think Jacinda Ardern couldn’t get any more lovely, low key and authentic … she goes and pays for your groceries at the supermarket, because you’ve got your shopping, have two kids with you and are about to put it all back as you forgot your wallet”.
The grateful mother did try to tell her children who had paid for their groceries, but they were more interested in letting her know how silly she was for forgetting her wallet back home.
This is not the first time that Jacinda Ardern helped another fellow being. She regularly makes the news for her unaffected way of dealing with people and her unorthodox ways of helping people out in a spot. Consequently her popularity also soars, making her a much liked and loved public figure in the country of New Zealand.
