A sign of relief: Some countries celebrate no new covid-19 cases

As soon as the world entered stepped into the year 2020, we have been facing trauma in the name of coronavirus. Some have been diagnosed with it and some are in the fear of getting it. We have almost spent half the year fighting this deadly virus. Though the end of a pandemic is still far some ray hopes come in our way as some countries are celebrating no new Covid-19 cases.

Hong Kong is a country that was hard hit by the pandemic and has faced its share of disaster; it is also one of the most densely populated countries. The country has now eased the restriction but social distancing is recommended to be practiced as often the second wave is very deadly. It has been 22 days since the country has not reported any more new cases.

New Zealand is another country that hasn’t reported any more new COVID-19 cases for over a week now. The people are now allowed to carry their normal day to day activities and work has also paced up. The country has some active cases which are expected to be recovered very soon.

The island of Hawaii has also not reported any more COVID-19 cases. The orders are being lifted slowly. The schools and other organizations are also permitted to function normally. There are some other countries also that are COVID-19 free. The story of these countries on how they have fought the coronavirus has given us the strength to fight the pandemic.
