This uplifting news come to us from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India.

The 21 days lockdown period in India is truly a tough situation for one and all but there are people who are understanding the need of the hour and instead of blaming the government, they are supporting the PM whole heartedly.

Amidst all this, many people have come up with huge donations to the CM’s relief fund in order to help the state governments fight against this period of crisis. Residing in Vidisha, a small city in Madhya Pradesh, a 82 year old retired school employee came up with a donation of Rs. 1 Lakh. The government was elated to see the old woman’s dedication and devotion towards her nation.

The woman namely Salbha Uskar came to know about the CM’s relief fund by spotting it in a newspaper and she immediately contacted nodal officer Vinay Prakash Singh as his number was mentioned in the newspaper itself. She then proposed to donate a sum of money.

She was told to stay safe at home and Singh informed her that someone would soon drop at her place to collect the donation. She handed over a cheque of Rs. 1 lakh and Singh was moved to know that Salbha chose to keep the donation silent and she refrained from coming in the limelight. Despite this, the media got to know about her donation and soon a video message of Salbha was released wherein she requested people to follow the lockdown guidelines strictly.

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who got moved by Salbha’s actions shared her video and showered praises. He also informed the people that the old woman made this donation from her pension fund. He also further added, “This invaluable blessing of a mother has boosted my confidence in the fight against the coronavirus epidemic.

Salbha Uskar is truly an inspiration for all the Indians and during this emergency when the government is looking up at the people of the nation, it is the duty of each individual to come up in full support. We definitely cannot stand together physically but it is our mental unity that can help the nation survive and fight against the deadly pandemic. When we have fighters like Salbha we get the confidence of winning over the situation very soon.
