Little boy’s faith restored in police after they replace his stolen ball

This uplifting news comes to us from Whanganui, New Zealand.

A 6-year-old boy, TeKahu Hall was playing outside his house with his beloved red ball when it bounced into the street where a woman in a silver car stopped, picked it up and drove off.

The little boy was distraught at this sudden turn of events and despite his grief, immediately started searching for his lost ball. He drew up posters with the ball’s picture and brought them to the police station, urging the officers to search for his missing ball.

Finally, the police responded to his requests and while they could not find the original ball, they gave the little boy a replacement ball. TeKahu Hall is overjoyed with the police and just won’t let go of his new plaything.
