Baghpat farmer’s daughter tops UP board examination

This uplifting news comes to us from Meerut, India.

Tanu Tomar is the daughter of a sugarcane farmer from Baghpat. She recently topped the class XII UP board examination with 97.8 percent of marks, missing the grand total by just 11 marks. Tanu is a student of Baghpat’s Shri Ram Siksha Mandir Inter College (Baraut).

Tanu does not own a cellphone nor is she active on social media. She scored 99 in Biology, 98 each in physics, Hindi and chemistry, and 96 in English. She had tears of joy in her eyes and dedicated her success to her mother and her teachers.

After scoring well in her class X exams, a lot of people challenged her to replicate her results in the Class XII board exams. Tanu kept away from private coaching and solved her queries in class, her efforts soon paid fruit and she says that she has risen to the challenge successfully. For Tanu’s parents, this is a moment of success for the entire family!
